Do you have the time to listen to me whine?

Huh. How is it Friday already? I realize that anyone with a job will probably not share that same reaction. Obviously, for me, Friday doesn’t really mean a whole lot right now. (Although today stands out, because I’m going to see Lyle Lovett tonight!) My days all kind of run together in a blur of list making and coffee drinking. I can tell the difference between weekdays and weekend days, because I generally have fewer coffee dates on Saturday and Sunday. I’m pretty sure that I’ve had coffee anyone I’ve ever known in the past three months.

I feel like I’ve gotten a lot of nothing done this week. I did have a couple of coffee appointments, and I did got to a few networking gatherings. But that still left a lot of hours unaccounted for. Next week I’m getting down to business setting a schedule and sticking to it. Hopefully by saying it here, I’ll feel accountable. I’m afraid this means I’m going to have to start setting my alarm clock again…

I really have no idea what I did during all the stretches when I was unemployed or worked part-time. I love that quote about “If you need something done, give it to a busy man” b/c those times when I had lots of time I got the least done by far. (Not sure if that is true for you; doesn’t sound like it.)
